To achieve this goal, we maintain high standards for ads accepted into the HANS programme. The policies listed below complement our Terms and Conditions and describe playtxt's advertising policies with regards to products and services.
In addition, you may wish to review our Editorial Guidelines. To run your ads on playtxt, you must adhere to both our content and Editorial Policies. These policies may apply to both the text of your ad and the content of your site. Application of our policies will always involve an element of discretion and we reserve the right to reject or approve any ads at any time. As noted in our Terms & Conditions, you represent and warrant that your website complies with all applicable laws.
Please note that the decisions we make concerning advertising in no way affect the user generated content that we deliver.
| Aids to Pass Drug Tests | Advertising is not permitted for the promotion of products intended to help individuals pass drug tests such as drug cleansing shakes and urine test additives. | ||

| Dialers | We do not permit advertising that is associated with dialers in any way. | ||
| Discrimination & Violence | Ads and associated websites may not promote violence or advocate against a protected group. A protected group is distinguished by their:
Ad text advocating against any organisation or person (public, private or protected) is not permitted. Stating disagreement with or campaigning against a candidate for public office, a political party or public administration is generally permissible. This standard applies to everyone who wants to advertise on playtxt, whether we agree with their viewpoint or not. |

| Illegal Drugs | Advertising is not permitted for the promotion of any illegal drugs (this includes drugs that are decriminalised but remain illegal). For ease of adminstration legal/illegal is based upon the laws governming drug use, abuse or sale in the United Kingdom. | ||
| Fake Documents | Advertising is not permitted for the promotion of fake documents such as fake IDs, passports, social security cards, immigration papers, diplomas and noble titles. Additionally, advertising is not permitted for the promotion of services that allow people to hire others to take standardised tests for them. |

| Fireworks/Pyrotechnic Devices |
Advertising is not permitted for the promotion of fireworks and pyrotechnic devices. | ||
| Gambling | Advertising is permitted for the promotion of online casinos and gambling activities where such ads comply with local regulations. Advertisers are responsible for complying with such local laws. This includes sports books, lotteries, bingo, poker, sites that provide tips, odds and handicapping, software facilitating online casinos and gambling and affiliates with the primary purpose of driving traffic to online gambling sites. | ||
| Hacking and Cracking Sites |

| Miracle Cures and Cults | Advertising is not permitted for the promotion of miracle cures, such as 'Cure cancer overnight!'. This includes surgeries, events, gatherings, promotion of or advertising the location of such events. | ||
| Prescription Drugs and Related Content |
playtxt do not accept advertising for specific drugs. We do accept adveritising for local pharmacies and drug stores/chemists. playtxt does accept advertising for clinical trials and/or questionnaire opportunities provided they are from reputable companies. We reserve the right to decide in our own judgement who is "Reputable" and who is not; at our entire discretion. | ||
| Proper Names | Sites that promote people finder services, detective agencies or other similar services are not permitted to use proper names as keywords. | ||
| Prostitution | Advertising is not permitted for the promotion of prostitution. | ||
| Scams/Phishing for Personal Information |
Advertising is not permitted for sites collecting sensitive personal information or money with fake forms, false claims or unauthorised use of playtxt Trademarks. Examples of personal information include email addresses, user names, passwords and/or payment information. | ||
| Sexual Content (Adult) |
Advertising is not permitted for the promotion of child pornography, any sexually suggestive content involving children or other non consensual material. Prohibited content also includes ads promoting teen pornography or other pornography that describes models who might be underage. |

| Solicitation of Funds | Only government-registered charities may solicit funds. Political fundraising is generally permitted, where such ads comply with local regulations. Advertisers are responsible for complying with such local laws in full. |

| Weapons | Advertising is not permitted for the promotion of any weapons, legal or illegal, including firearms, firearm components, ammunition, balisongs, butterfly knives and brass knuckles. |
It is the advertisors responsibility in full and at all times to comply with the local laws and regulations where their advert will be received. playtxt accepts no resposibility for any legal action, fines, court action, or any other consquence on behalf of the advertisor, as a consequence of not adhering to local law, custom, or regulations.
